About Us

My husband and I were high school sweet hearts that married soon after High School in 1990. I pursued a career in the medical fields, while John works in the plumbing trade. I have always had a strong desire to work in the medical fields, and enjoy researching the sciences of genetics. Both John and I have volunteered on our local first aid squad as Emergency Medical Technicians. Animals have always been a big part of our lives, whether pets or wild. We moved to the ‘country' soon after our second child was born. I was raised in the country, while John was a ‘city slicker'. After the birth of our fifth child, we needed an even bigger home!  Not wanting to leave our ‘country atmosphere', we remained in Sussex County NJ. Our new home offers a spacious living environment, with plenty of acreage for our dogs Beethoven and Pebbles to run around with our children. The new home also allowed us enough space to pursue my life long dream of running a cattery for Himalayans and Persians. I have always had a special place in my heart for the breed! Yet, I had a strong desire to do things a bit different. I wanted OUR cattery to stand apart from others on many levels. Having a background in the sciences, I decided to strive to build a cattery that was unique in its ability to produce rare, unique color kittens in uncommon patterns. How many times in your life will you see red, blue, or purple kittens with lynx (stripe) markings? Once in a while a rare kitten of this unique color or pattern is born here!

All of our children share the same love and devotion to all of our pets, whether feathered or furry! Although each of our children have special gifts and talents in various areas, they all share the common bond of love for our breeding program. All kittens born in our home are handled from birth, to produce a loving well-socialized kitten, and a forever friend. Each of our breeders was handpicked from reputable breeders that hold to high standards of care for their cattery. They come from champion lines. Annual exams are an essential part of assuring optimum health of each breeder. Most of all, each one is spoiled and loved beyond compare. When they can no longer be a part of our breeding program, we offer them a sunny spot in our home to live out their days until they cross that rainbow bridge! Each kitten has several checkups after birth. To limit exposure to the outside world, we have the vet come to our home whenever possible. Visitors are kept to a minimum when a litter is born. A clean home and cattery is essential in infection control. This fact has affectionately earned me the name ‘Clorox Queen' aside from the “Cat Lady' amongst friends and family. We strive to produce loving affectionate kittens, which are extremely healthy and social, beyond your imagination!
